The unicyclist community is gaining more and more fans and the downhill race in Bad Goisern has become a popular highlight within the scene with world class participants such as David Weichenberger from Linz, Rulf Jakub from Czech Republic and Sterward Ziga from Slovenia. It’s great fun watching this spectacle varying – depending on the weather – from a mud battle to a dust cloud. The mass start for this sensational competition is at the Berghotel Predigstuhl where the daredevils are tackling a 4.1 km long downhill with 500 m altitude difference along hiking trails and former toboggan run!
